Student Services at University of Wollongong, South Western Sydney campus is a proactive and knowledgeable one-stop shop for all current and future students. We are proud to deliver exceptional, personalised and timely service, resulting in positive student and staff experiences. We are a supportive, successful team that is striving to become the preeminent community-orientated higher education provider in the Great South West.


Our Student Services office (the Student Hub) is open Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm, and is located at the front desk, ground floor reception area.

Careers Consultant

Our Careers Consultant, Nicole Smith is available on campus in Room 128 on Thursdays and via email (, phone at 02 8536 2004 and Skype on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Learning Development and Academic Skills

Learning Development offers seminars, consultations and online resources to help students in developing their academic abilities. At our South Western Sydney campus, weekly seminars address a range of necessary skills including reading, research, essay and report writing, referencing, presenting and exam preparation. These happen weekly in Seminar Room 4, on Mondays at 12:30 p.m. and Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. If you think you need an individual consultation, these can be booked at the Student Hub.

Library Services

The UOW Library has partnered with the Liverpool City Library to provide all of your Library needs.

Liverpool City Library is open from 9.30 – 8pm Monday to Friday, 9.30 – 4pm Saturday and 12pm – 4pm Sunday.

Facilities at the Library include wi-fi, computers, power points, study rooms and a coffee shop (Mon-Fri only).

Library staff are available to assist you with research and assignments.

Books in the UOW collection are located on the Reading Room Level of the Library. Electronic books, database access and subject readings are available via the UOW Library website or by clicking on “My Library” in your Moodle.

Your student card is your borrowing card for UOW books. If you would like to borrow from the City Library collection just ask the friendly staff who will assist you to join for free.

Campus Tours 

You don't need to be a student at UOW to see firsthand why our campus is special and why we all love it here. UOW campus tours allow you to see our facilities and meet people doing what they do best. It's your chance to check out UOW and ask as many questions as you like.

Our free, hour-long tours are conducted by current UOW students and staff, and run every Friday at 10am and 2pm throughout the year*, so we're always ready to welcome you!

Justice of the Peace

 Our Student Services office provides Justice of the Peace services every Friday.


The UOW Accommodation Services unit provides a free online listing of off-campus accommodation options for students. Access their Housing Services website to view current listings. 

Overseas Health Cover (International Students)

Bupa is the preferred provider of Overseas Health Cover for the university. Further information on Bupa and the services available
